1. Agreement and Company Identity
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern quotations, reservations, payments, and ground transportation services offered or arranged by The Toronto Limo, operated by Kuro Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). They apply to bookings through thetorontolimo.com, telephone, email, authorized booking representatives, and other channels accepted by The Toronto Limo.
By accepting a confirmed reservation or using the service, the booking customer agrees to these Terms and any specific terms disclosed in the written booking confirmation, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. An inquiry, preliminary quotation, or automatic form acknowledgement is not itself a confirmed reservation.
2. Our Vehicles and Licensed Local Partners
The Toronto Limo provides transportation using our own vehicles and chauffeurs or, when needed, vehicles and chauffeurs supplied by licensed and insured local transportation partners. We may use partners for airport transfers, sedans, SUVs, Sprinter vans, specialty limousines, weddings, corporate bookings, group travel, long-distance service, multiple vehicles, or periods of high demand.
The operating transportation provider is responsible for meeting applicable licensing, commercial insurance, safety, and vehicle requirements. The Toronto Limo coordinates bookings and customer communications as applicable. We do not guarantee that every vehicle is owned or operated directly by Kuro Inc. Assignment of a local partner does not, by itself, change the price or essential service requirements in the confirmed reservation.
3. Quotes and Booking Confirmation
Prices are based on the details supplied, including pickup and drop-off points, travel time, route, passenger count, luggage, vehicle class, stops, and special requirements. Website prices and vehicle images may be illustrative or starting rates only. A reservation is accepted when The Toronto Limo issues a booking confirmation through an authorized channel. Customers must review the confirmation and promptly report any error.
Confirmed pricing applies to the agreed service. Material changes to itinerary, duration, stops, vehicle category, or requirements may result in revised charges, which we will communicate before proceeding where reasonably practicable.
4. Accurate Booking Information
The booking customer must provide accurate dates, times, addresses, contact details, passenger counts, flight information, luggage dimensions, child-seat requirements, and accessibility needs. If someone books for another passenger, the booking customer must have authority to provide necessary details and communicate the applicable booking terms.
Inaccurate or incomplete information may cause delay, require a different vehicle, create additional charges, or make service impossible. Any additional charges must be supported by the confirmed terms or otherwise agreed and lawful.
5. Vehicle Class, Substitution, and Capacity
Unless expressly guaranteed in writing, a booking is for a vehicle category, not a specific make, model, colour, registration plate, model year, or chauffeur. Photographs and descriptions may show representative vehicles. The Toronto Limo may arrange a suitable replacement vehicle where operationally necessary, including through a licensed local partner. The replacement must reasonably accommodate the confirmed passengers, luggage, and essential accessibility requirements.
All passengers must have lawful seating and restraints. Published maximum seating does not guarantee simultaneous accommodation of the maximum number of passengers and large suitcases. Oversized luggage, equipment, or mobility devices must be disclosed in advance. A chauffeur may decline an unsafe or unlawful load.
6. Fares, Taxes, and Additional Charges
A confirmed flat fare covers the route and service described in the booking confirmation; it does not include unlimited stops, waiting, hours, distance, or itinerary changes. Applicable HST will be added unless the quotation expressly states the price is tax-inclusive.
Where not already included, additional charges may apply for customer-requested stops or route changes, tolls (including Highway 407 where used), parking, airport access fees, waiting time beyond the allowance, overtime, child seats or other requested equipment, extraordinary cleaning, and vehicle damage. Any fixed fees or rates must be disclosed at booking or otherwise agreed before being charged, except reasonable charges arising from actual damage where permitted by law. Gratuities are voluntary unless a gratuity is expressly included and disclosed in the confirmed price.
When we provide a price quotation, applicable HST, tolls, airport fees, parking and requested child-seat charges for the agreed service are included in the quoted total. These items may be additional to a base fare, but are not added again to the confirmed inclusive quote. Changes beyond the agreed service remain subject to the disclosed or agreed additional charges described above.
7. Payment and Payment Processing
The Toronto Limo may accept credit cards, electronic transfers, approved online payment methods, and other payment arrangements communicated at booking. We may use one or more third-party payment processors; no single provider is guaranteed. Depending on the booking, we may require full prepayment, a deposit, a valid payment authorization, or payment under an approved corporate arrangement.
By authorizing a payment, the customer agrees to the confirmed fare, taxes, and properly disclosed or agreed additional charges. Payment processors may apply their own verification and security procedures. If a required deposit or payment is not received, an unconfirmed request may be declined; cancellation of an already confirmed booking will be handled under the applicable agreement and law.
8. Cancellation and Refund Policy
The following policy applies to standard transportation reservations unless a different specialty-booking policy is expressly disclosed and agreed before confirmation. All time periods are measured backward from the scheduled local pickup time.
More than 48 hours before pickup
A cancellation received more than 48 hours before pickup qualifies for a full refund or trip credit, at the customer's election, subject to any separately disclosed and lawful specialty-deposit terms.
From 12 hours up to and including 48 hours before pickup
A cancellation received 12 to 48 hours before pickup is subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the confirmed fare. Any remaining prepaid amount will be handled in accordance with the booking agreement and applicable law; where a monetary refund is due, it will not be replaced with credit without the customer's agreement or another lawful basis.
Less than 12 hours before pickup
A cancellation received less than 12 hours before pickup is subject to a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the confirmed fare, except where applicable law or a specific confirmed agreement requires otherwise.
No-show
If the passenger fails to appear at the confirmed location after the applicable disclosed waiting allowance and cannot be located despite reasonable contact attempts, the booking may be classified as a no-show, with a charge of 100% of the confirmed fare, subject to applicable law.
Specialty reservations and deposits
Weddings, stretch limousines, Sprinter vans, large groups, multi-vehicle bookings, special events, and customized charters may require deposits or different cancellation rules. Any non-refundable deposit, minimum service charge, or different cancellation schedule must be clearly disclosed and agreed before confirmation. Otherwise, the standard policy above applies.
How to cancel
Send cancellation requests to booking@thetorontolimo.com or another booking channel expressly authorized by The Toronto Limo. Include the reservation reference, customer name, and pickup date. The cancellation time is when the request is received by an authorized The Toronto Limo channel. We recommend written cancellation so there is a record; a customer may also use any cancellation method required or protected by applicable law.
Refund processing and The Toronto Limo cancellations
Approved refunds will ordinarily be initiated to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval; the financial institution may take additional time to post them. If The Toronto Limo cancels a confirmed booking and cannot supply a reasonably suitable alternative, the customer will receive a refund for the unprovided service as required by the agreement and applicable law. Completed services are not ordinarily refundable merely because preferences change after travel; remedies for material service failures and statutory rights remain available.
9. Pickup, Waiting Time, and No-Shows
Passengers should be ready at the confirmed pickup time and location and remain reachable at the telephone number provided. The applicable complimentary waiting period and any additional waiting-time rate must be disclosed in the booking confirmation or an incorporated service schedule. We will make reasonable efforts to contact a passenger before declaring a no-show. Restricted stopping zones and airport rules may affect where a chauffeur can wait.
10. Airport Transfers and Flight Changes
Customers must provide correct airline, flight number, arrival date, airport, and terminal details. Where flight tracking is offered, The Toronto Limo or its provider may use third-party flight data to adjust dispatch, but such information can be incomplete or inaccurate. Customers must advise us of flight cancellations, rebookings, or material changes as soon as possible.
Airport meeting points and procedures depend on the terminal and local rules. The confirmation or chauffeur communication will explain the meeting location. Airport waiting allowances and additional rates are those disclosed for the specific reservation; we do not promise an undisclosed universal waiting allowance. Significant delays may require rescheduling or an alternate vehicle subject to availability. Passengers should allow adequate time for departures, security, customs, and boarding. Travel times are estimates, not guarantees, subject to applicable duties of care and law.
11. Hourly Charters, Weddings, and Events
Hourly and as-directed reservations are subject to the minimum hours, included mileage, start/end billing method, and overtime rates disclosed at booking. Extra hours depend on chauffeur availability. Event and wedding customers must provide a realistic itinerary, venue details, and stop schedule. Unplanned changes, extended waiting, or additional vehicles may affect the price if agreed or covered by disclosed terms.
12. Group, Long-Distance, and Cross-Border Trips
Group organizers must accurately disclose passengers, luggage, pickup points, and required vehicles. No vehicle may exceed its legal seating capacity. Long-distance trips may have special rest, routing, and overtime arrangements disclosed in the booking. Cross-border services are offered only if expressly confirmed and legally authorized. Passengers are responsible for valid travel documents and admissibility; border authorities control entry decisions. Border delays and additional service requirements may affect charges where agreed and lawful.
13. Passenger Conduct and Safety
Passengers must comply with laws, seat-belt requirements, and reasonable chauffeur safety instructions. Violence, threats, harassment, unlawful conduct, interference with driving, and unsafe behaviour are prohibited. A chauffeur may refuse or discontinue a trip where reasonably necessary for safety or legal compliance. Charges or refunds following such termination depend on the circumstances, confirmed agreement, and applicable law.
14. Smoking, Vaping, Alcohol, and Drugs
Smoking and vaping are prohibited in vehicles. Alcohol or cannabis consumption is permitted only where expressly lawful and authorized for the vehicle and service; a limousine booking does not automatically authorize drinking. Passengers must comply with all applicable laws. Safety-related refusals or termination may occur where intoxication or unlawful activity creates risk. Reasonable cleaning or remediation charges may apply when properly supported and permitted by law.
15. Cleaning, Damage, and Personal Property
Customers may be responsible for reasonable, documented cleaning, repair, or replacement costs for damage or excessive soiling caused by their party beyond normal wear and tear. Any fixed cleaning fee must be disclosed before booking. The Toronto Limo or the operator may document an incident and provide supporting records. Customers may dispute a charge through our contact email.
Passengers should check the vehicle for belongings before exiting. We will make reasonable efforts to coordinate recovery of items reported missing, but recovery is not guaranteed. Reasonable return or courier costs may apply if agreed. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Children, Accessibility, and Service Animals
Customers must advise The Toronto Limo of required child restraints and accessibility accommodations in advance. Child-seat availability and any fee must be confirmed; not all vehicles carry child seats. Applicable restraint laws must be followed. We will consider accommodation requests in accordance with accessibility and human-rights obligations. Not all standard vehicles are wheelchair accessible. Legally protected service animals will be accommodated as required by law; other pets should be disclosed before booking.
17. Chauffeur and Partner Assignments
Chauffeur and vehicle assignments depend on availability, licensing, location, and service requirements. Specific chauffeurs are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed. The Toronto Limo may use a licensed and insured local partner vehicle where needed. Customers should promptly report concerns about vehicle suitability or chauffeur conduct so we can respond.
18. Delays, Disruptions, and Force Majeure
Traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, airport congestion, border controls, government restrictions, major events, and other circumstances can affect travel. We will use reasonable efforts to provide the confirmed service safely. Where extraordinary circumstances beyond reasonable control prevent performance, we will communicate options for alternative transport, rescheduling, or refunds as required by the booking agreement and applicable law. This section does not excuse negligence or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Complaints, Billing Disputes, and Chargebacks
If you believe a charge or service is incorrect, please contact booking@thetorontolimo.com with the reservation reference and supporting details. We will review the issue reasonably. We may submit relevant booking confirmations, communications, payment records, dispatch timestamps, and service evidence to a financial institution or payment network when responding to a dispute, subject to privacy law.
Customers retain all lawful rights to dispute charges, seek chargebacks under card-network rules, or pursue statutory remedies. These Terms do not prohibit lawful chargebacks or require customers to surrender non-waivable rights.
20. Corporate Accounts and Third-Party Bookings
Companies, hotels, travel agents, event organizers, and other authorized representatives may book for passengers. The booking party must provide accurate details and have appropriate authority. Separate written corporate agreements may establish invoicing, credit limits, payment terms, and cancellation arrangements. Where a signed agreement conflicts with these general Terms, the specific agreement controls to the extent permitted by law.
21. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Vehicle photographs, examples, estimated travel times, starting prices, service descriptions, and availability information may be illustrative and subject to change. Specific commitments are those confirmed for a reservation. The Toronto Limo and its licensors retain rights in original website text, branding, graphics, and other protected materials. Visitors may not misuse the website, impersonate The Toronto Limo, submit fraudulent requests, interfere with security, or unlawfully copy protected content.
22. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy published on thetorontolimo.com. Booking details may be shared with our chauffeurs and licensed local transportation partners as reasonably necessary to perform the service.
23. Liability and Customer Responsibility
The Toronto Limo and the operating carrier remain responsible for duties imposed by applicable law and their respective roles in the confirmed service. To the extent legally permitted, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside reasonable control or by materially incorrect information supplied by the customer. Liability for indirect or consequential economic loss may be limited where enforceable, but nothing here excludes or limits liability for negligence, personal injury, fraud, wilful misconduct, statutory consumer rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
A customer may be responsible for reasonable, documented losses caused by their unlawful conduct, intentional damage, or actionable breach of these Terms. Customers are not responsible for losses caused by The Toronto Limo's or a provider's own negligence or misconduct.
24. Consumer Rights and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and applicable federal Canadian law, subject to mandatory jurisdiction and consumer-protection rules. Nothing in these Terms waives non-excludable rights concerning disclosure, cancellation, refunds, misrepresentation, accessibility, or other legal protections. Customers are encouraged to contact us to resolve concerns, but may use courts, tribunals, regulators, and other lawful dispute processes when available.
25. Changes, Severability, and Entire Agreement
We may update website Terms prospectively and post a new effective date. Changes do not automatically alter a confirmed reservation without an appropriate contractual or legal basis. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. The booking confirmation, these Terms, and any specifically incorporated written agreement form the relevant booking agreement, without excluding legally binding representations or mandatory rights.
